Last Saturday we had René's mom, dad, and brother over for Mother's Day! They came around noon, and after a quick bite to eat, we went out to explore Leiden. René's family hasn't really gotten out to see our town, so it was nice to show them around a little. We rented a row boat for 6 euros and hour (and we all fit!) and rowed through the canals for 2 hours. Then we came back home and had hamburgers (or some kind of variation) for dinner, with René-made-Betty (Crocker)-assisted chocolate cake for dessert!!
