A co-worker and I took a cake decorating class together. It was the Wilton Decorating Basics class, which consisted of 4 lessons. We learned a lot of new piping techniques, and now I can make simple flowers with icing, but to be honest I like working with fondant much better. It comes out looking much more professional, in my opinion. But we had fun, and I liked the way my final project turned out!

Een collega en ik hebben een taartversiering cursus gevolgd. Het was de Wilton Decorating Basics cursus, die uit 4 lessen bestond. Wij hebben veel geleerd van 'piping,' en nu kan ik eenvoudige bloemetjes maken van icing. Maar om eerlijk te zijn, vind ik het leuker om met fondant te werken. Volgens mij zien de taarten er professioneler uit. Maar wij hebben plezier gehad, en ik vond mijn eindproject wel leuk!
