Rock star at school

On Monday two members of the Dutch rock band Kane came to our school and recorded the 3rd graders for a track on their upcoming new album. Turns out that Dinand Woesthoff (the lead singer) has a son in the 3rd grade (in Sara's class), and they wanted to record the kids chanting "1, 2, 3, 4" for the end of one of the songs.

The kids didn't have to do too much, but it was a really cool experience for them. Dinand was really really good with the kids, and let them ask him all kinds of questions about what it's like to be a rock star. I think they really had a good time!
