It's graduation time, and here in Holland, they have a very fun tradition! If you pass your exams ("geslaagd", in Dutch) at the end of middelbare school (high school), you put your backpack out on the flagpole to tell everyone that you've succeeded!
If your house doesn't have a flagpole like the random one I took pictures of, then you can hang it out your window like Rene's family did when he and Lodewijk graduated!
