I'm going to Switzerland tomorrow on a school trip. This coming week, the Senior School doesn't have classes, and all grades except Year 7 go away somewhere on a trip (Year 7 students have activities at the school for part of each day). I'm going on a geography/biology trip with Year 10 and 12 students to Engelberg, which is a popular ski resort and quite beautiful I'm told.
We'll be doing river studies and looking at glacial caves and the effect of tourism on the area. It's not going to be all fun and games, but I'm really looking forward to it!
I'll try to remember to take lots of pictures and let you know all about it when we get back!
But before you get too envious, I should let you know that it's a 13 hour bus ride and we're leaving at 6:30 am!!
